'God speaking to me..'

It's October 21th today so you can say I've been in the UK for almost 2 months.. omg time flies so fast!
I've been nowhere except my last short trip to London and my visa will be expired in 8 months.. :\

anyway I have this urge of sharing something that I got from church earlier..
I believe many of you have heard this line, "God speaking to me that..", "I heard God's voice telling me that.." and so on. And I also believe most of you are not sure if God really speaks or have spoken to you. Cos sometimes I do.

But here's one good illustration of how it works.
You must have experienced this, that when you are answering a phone call with unknown number, yet you suddenly know that it is that particular person who calls you, unless he/she is trying to fake their voice. The reason is because you know him/her so well until no one can lie to you. Cos he is your friend, your close one..
And this example is also applicable for your relationship with God.
How do you know when God speaks to you? How do you know when it's HIS voice and not your own thoughts?
How do you know if it's God's calling when you don't even know His voice? *bang!*

When you don't set aside your time to talk to Him, or even you do so but it just become your regular activity, you might lose that connection with God. You don't hear His voice. You might now even know how His voice is like.

I don't think I need to explain the rest cos all of you must have known what to do next :)

Life is challenging, but it doesn't have to be difficult.

Let God take controls!

Perfectly Imperfect

It was really nice to be back my second home; worshiping God in City Harvest KL and meeting my second family in Indonesian Fellowship.
Such a blessing to know all of them, grow and yet to be fruitful together in the house of God.
anyway, I wud like to share three things that I learned today.

1. We shud be thankful, grateful enough, for receiving mercy and bless from God, even when we don't deserve it.

2. We shud not only RECEIVE, yet we also need to GIVE as an action of LOVE.

3. We are imperfect, but God makes us perfect in His eyes.
We all might have a different timing to encounter God and His presence. We are amazed by how God bless our friends, families, others. But when is exactly our turn? You may have this question in your mind. But let me tell you something. We all have a different timing. It is not your faults. It is God's timing, and He makes everything perfect at the right time, not too soon and not too late.
For me, listening to other people's testimonies is burned me up, means I am encouraged to do more things with God, walks with Him, talk to Him. Thanks to such a wonderful testimonies today in IF, I know that my time is coming soon. Not to soon yet not too late. I just need to reflect on myself, whether what I do right now pleasing God, as well as maximise my skill and capacity. :)

And one more thing.. I believe all of us are such a beauty in God's eyes.
You might not pretty, but you are sweet (like me? LOL) *sorry for the too much self-confidence*
You might not sweet, but you look attractive.
You might not smart, but you are kind.

Sometimes I do feel much discouraged seeing A LOT of pretty sexy attractive soft hearted girls outside, I DO! hahaha
But I also do believe that God is not unfair for not giving me any good things in me. We are just not well-trained enough to know our own capability, strength, and beauty!

Time heals and opens everything! Just wait and learn!

Why do people like to put off doing something?

MERDEKAAAA!! :D

seneng banget yah kita bisa hidup di jaman modern kaya sekarang ini..

ngga kebayang kalo gua hidup di jaman dulu.. ngga ada si keren blackberry, ngga ada si canggih macbook.. TV pun cuma orang mapan aja yang punya..

udah gitu pembantu susah dicari.. tiap hari harus bantu orangtua cari duit, belum tentu boleh sekolah..

Thanks God gua lahir di tahun 1991.. :)

Thanks God juga 65 tahun sudah Indonesia merdeka.. Meskipun kita masih dijajah oleh hal-hal yang kasat mata.. :(

BTW, mati lampu doonnkk di rumah..

alasannya : belum bayar listrik

padahal gua udah kasih tuh duit listrik ke hosmet dari awal bulan ini, and sekarang listriknya diputusin karena belum bayar.. ZZZ

satu pertanyaan gua adalah :

WHY do people like to put off doing something?

contohnya aja nyicil belajar ato mandi ato disuruh orangtua ato kejadian hari ini yang bikin gua ngga bisa ngapa2in (padahal udah rencana mau seharian nonton korea) lol

alasannya banyak banget! entar aja deh, belum waktunya, males, gak sempet, cape, masih ada lain waktu, and many more.

bingung dehh... kalo emang ada kesempatan, kenapa ngga sih? apa ruginya coba ngelakuin sesuatu sebelum tenggat waktunya and ngga last minute??

hhmm..masalahnya kalo belajar, oke deh kadang2 kita emank males disuruh nyicil.. itu sih maklum.. tapi kalo saran gua, kenapa ngga belajar nyicil?? apa ruginya??

Kalo gua sih (bukannya sombong,wkwkwkw) kalo udah mau exam, gua usahain nyicil belajarnya.. Rajin banget?? Mungkinn.. :) tapi bukan itu masalahnya.. gua sih takut aja kalo belajar last minute, ngga keburu semua bahan and malah stress sendiri karena kepikiran bahan yang banyak banget..

selain itu.. temen gua pernah ngasih quote kayak gini :

gua sih mikirnya gini.. di dunia ini orang2 punya kemampuan yang beda2.. ada yang cerdas, ada yang pinter, ada yang sedikit lemot, dan ada yang butuh perhatian extra.. masalahnya di kelompok manakah kamu di dunia ini??

gua sih mikir jeleknya aja.. kalo ternyata banyak banget orang yang jauh lebih cerdas dari gua, gimana donk? gimana gua mau bertahan hidup? gimana gua mau cari makan?? kawin ama datuk ato anak raja?? hahahaha

Intinya.. anggep aja kita dikategori pas2an, it means kita harus work/study more than others. Kalo orang pinter belajar rumus fisika sekali aja cukup, berarti kita harus belajar 3 kali biar kemampuan kita SAMA kayak dia. Itu artinya juga, kita harus belajar 7 atau 10 kali lebih sering biar kemampuan kita MELEBIHI kemampuan 'si pintar' itu.

Am i right? :)

Oh yaa.. selain itu juga, selama satu tahun terakhir ini gua belajar banyak banget tentang pengalaman hidup.. *Baru 18 mau ke 19 tahun aja udah sok* hahaha

I am not sure whether you agree with me or not, but this life teaches me to expect less from others. I do not expect others to do a favor for me anymore, I do not expect others to understand my feelings, I do not expect others to 'sacrifice' for me. Why? I just think that it's nonsense. The only one that can sacrifice for us is our Lord. :)

My mom once taught me not to depend on other people. Sometimes, we have to stand with our own feet without any others' help. WE HAVE TO. Because i don't think people can always help us if we get into troubles. They do have problems. So the only person that can help you whenever you need is Jesus :)

However, even when I said that I do not expect others to understand my feelings or cares of me, I DO EXPECT. coz I am still human. But I just don't want this feeling make me out of control and force others to care of me and understand my feeling; if they are not, i will be so mad and angry and upset, and act like crazy.

NO. I am not that kind of person. That's why i want to keep my expectation under control :D

So, please think twice if u are trying to put off doing something..

sometimes? acceptable.. but always?? it's BIG NO.

Think about your future, then you will realize how precious time is :)

Last thing, if I think deeply about the positive thing for not having electricity today, i got some advantages also :

1. I cleaned my house. MY SELF. *proudly to say* the very very dirty kitchen, the messy living room, and my own room. Now it's clean and comfortable :D

2. I went swimming. So happy coz since a month ago I didn't go swimming, and so happy to see the pool like a small little child :D Now I feel slim. LOL

It is now 9 pm, I don't know what to do with the rest of the time. Impossible if i sleep at this hour, and wake up in the early morning, find out that the electricity is still being cut down. :(

My macbook's battre is half already so i need to keep it or else i have to go to someone's house and do online there. Pray for me, soon the electricity will be back. :)

CRAZY LOVE

errmm.. I feel sooo tired today.. Monday is the busiest day of the whole week!! hahaha. But u know what, i feel so productive if monday's coming.. Coz i have full-day activities : going to school and having a fullday classes (9 to 5), doing groceries, and spending the night watching movies.. So i don't feel like wasting my time doing nothing.. it's great, isn't it?? :)

Btw, what's the point between today and crazy love??

Here's the behind story..

After doing groceries, and walking in the rain, i was thinking that today was REALLY a great day, even i felt so tired.. Why? 'coz i felt so blessed by this bustle. OK, maybe you still don't get what i mean.. lol. Actually i'm planning to share this post right after taking a shower, so that everything that comes to my mind, i can easily explain, but i was stuck with the korean drama (as always)

Anyway, i will just skip the introduction, and straight to the point. :D

So what do you think about crazy love?? is it about waiting for someone for 4 years to be her boyfriend? or is it about loving him for 2 years even you have already dumped?? erm.. YES, it is.

You always think about him/her, you imagine that he/she becomes ur soulmate, you can't leave without him/her, you admire him/her, when u'r walking;sleeping;showering;eating;peeing;anything, you couldn't let your mind even one second not thinking about him/her, you feel so happy if he/she cares of you, and you feel extremely jealous if he/she is being with someone. And you will think that i'm crazy if i ask you to give your boyfriend to me.

If you feel the same way with what i described above, it's called CRAZY LOVE.

However, today i'm not going to talk about our crazy love to someone, since i'm not that expert :D but, i want to talk about the other love, the greatest love that we have ever received.

I John 4: 19 - "We love Him, because He first loved us"

Ask yourself : Do you LOVE this GOD who is everything, or do you just LOVE EVERYTHING He gives you?

erm.. okay, i love God, but actually i love everything He gives me more.. is that your answer??

then i will ask you, Can you proof your love to God?

based on what i got from cell group and church service last week (thanks to July and ps. Troy), these are the proofs show that you really love God.

1. If you love God, you love His words

This is simply and solely, means bible. Please, don't judge me. I believe most of us think that reading bible is the best sleeping pill at night. *sorry God*. But that's why i said, you still can read it in the morning; when your body and your mind are completely awake, right? Come on.. How could the Holy Spirit remind you if you've never read the bible? Do you expect God comes to your dreams and reminds you everytime you get into trouble? Or do you expect of hearing God's voice directly??

Awake pleaseee.. :)

But, do not just aim to do the bare minimum so that you get rid of the guilt or to fulfill your Christian duty. He wants a true relationship with you.. :)

2. If you love God, Love His people

It is easy to love people who are kind and care of you, but you should love 'the others' also. It means your enemies.

The first step is to release FORGIVENESS to those who have wronged you and begin to PRAY for God's blessing to be upon them - Ephesians 4: 32

Another way of loving is through giving.

I completely know it's hard to do, but just forgive and move on. God first forgave our sins, is it hard to forgive someone's fault?

Giving means blessing others. God has been extremely kind to us; giving us a pretty/handsome face, letting us enjoy all the pleasures and studying at good university. How do you appreciate all the blessing? It is simple, by blessing others. It is not only by material, but also with your attention and love.

3. If you love God, I don't have to ask you to do the things above

Why? Because you aware of your own. I just realized this yesterday; if I love God, i don't need people to remind me of reading bible or pray every nite. If I love God, they don't need to force me to serve at the church. If I love God, i love His words and His people. If I love God, I love EVERYTHING that happen in my life. If I love God, i feel HAPPY EVERYDAY, coz I'M IN LOVE.. :)
